JWJ-C计轴系统是以传感技术、计算机技术、通信技术为基础的铁路信号控制基础设备，是检查轨道区段占用或空闲状态的安全设备，其作用与轨道电路等效。 JWJ-C计轴系统的工作原理是：对比列车驶入和驶出时间段计轴监控点记录的车轴数量，通过比较两次结果数量确定该区段的占用或空闲状态。

   JWJ-C axle counting system is the basic equipment of railway signal control based on sensing, computer and communication technology. It is a safety device for checking the occupancy or idle state of the track section, and its function is equivalent to that of the track circuit. The working principle of JWJ-C axle counting system is to compare the number of axles recorded at the axle counting monitoring point during the period of train’s entering and leaving, and to determine the occupied or idle state of the section by comparing the two results.

   JWJ-C计轴系统由设在轨道区段端口处的轮轴检测器（计轴点）、设在信号机械室的计轴主机、计轴区段轨道继电器组合、设在运转室的区段复零按钮组合、传输电缆或光缆及接口等部分组成。

   JWJ-C axle counting system consists of the axle detector (axle counting point) located at the track section port, the axle counting unit in the signal machinery room, rail relay combination in the axle counting section, section zero button combination in the operation room, transmission cable or optical cable, and interfaces.
